We arrived after a rather long and confronting trip – the testing, the documentation, the stopovers in the States… we arrived feeling surprisingly refreshed.
MaPa met us at the Guadalajara airport with flowers, balloons and a welcome sign – I don’t think they were too excited to see us.
Our home in Mexico:
Ajijic is a small village on the side of Mexico’s largest freshwater lake, Lago Chapala.
There are a LOT of gringos, but it’s authentic enough for us to start our Mexican adventure nice and gently. It’s considered to have one of the best climates in the world – and we are certainly finding it that way ourselves.
Every local you pass smiles and wishes you a Buenas Dias! Super friendly, super safe, and the bloody FOOD. Just O.M.G.
